In the warm evening hours of July 2, 2023, a dispute at PBS Pinchback Park in Shreveport, Louisiana, tragically escalated, ending the life of 18-year-old Isaiah Morse. The young man was shot during the altercation and, despite being rushed to a local hospital, succumbed to his injuries. The Caddo Parish Coroner's Office later confirmed his identity, marking another young life lost to gun violence in the city.
The Shreveport Police Department quickly launched an investigation into the
