Tommy Damon Daniels, a 28-year-old law student at Florida International University, was last seen on November 2, 2009, in Miami, Florida. He had been at a CiCi's Pizza restaurant near the FIU Modesto Maidique campus with friends when he suddenly became agitated and fled the restaurant, shouting that "they are coming to get me." This alarming behavior left his friends concerned, but he was not reported missing until nine days later.
Daniels, who stood 6'5" and weighed 230 pounds, left his car parked at his campus fraternity house, where he lived, and has not been in contact with anyone since that day. He was last seen wearing a gray tank top and khaki cargo shorts. There is a possibility that Daniels was experiencing a mental health crisis, as he had been seeing a psychiatrist prior to his disappearance.
Three days after he was last seen, Daniels was found asleep in a Miami Beach parking lot. Police took him to Mount Sinai Medical Center, but there is no record of him being treated or admitted. After this brief sighting, Daniels vanished again, and there has been no further trace of him. His family, who lives in California, and investigators are deeply concerned for his safety due to the unusual circumstances surrounding his disappearance. His case remains unsolved.
