Jorge Luis Pintado, aged 33 at the time, went missing on May 17, 1991, from Miami, Florida. On the day of his disappearance, Pintado and his associate, Enrique Oscar Valles, were driving a rented 1991 Chevrolet Caprice from Miami to Georgia with plans to purchase a used dump truck. They were last seen in the 1100 block of Northwest 6th Street in Miami before embarking on their trip. However, they never reached their destination.
