Carlos Cruz-Echevarria, a 60-year-old Hispanic male, was tragically murdered on November 11, 2017, in Deltona, Florida. The incident occurred near his home at the intersection of Malaga Avenue and Puritan Street. Cruz-Echevarria, known for his kind-hearted nature, was attempting to assist a motorist whose vehicle was stuck in a ditch when he was fatally shot.
