D’Angelo Lamar Pouncy Sr., 28, was a Black/African American man from Shreveport, Louisiana. On the evening of Monday, October 18, 2021, gunfire shattered the calm on Lillian Street. Police said the shooting happened around 7:15 p.m., and when officers arrived they found a man badly wounded. He was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, but he did not survive and was later pronounced dead.
