In the early morning hours of April 2nd, the quiet of a Shreveport neighborhood was broken by the sound of a car crash. Responding officers arrived at the 3800 block of DeSoto Street to find a vehicle that had struck a tree. Inside, they discovered the body of 21-year-old RanDavious Armstrong, a Black male. It was quickly apparent that the crash was not the cause of his death; Armstrong had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.
