Cartell D. Willis, a 26-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on April 11, 2019, in Shreveport, Louisiana. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 3:30 a.m., when Willis was found lying in the driveway of a residence in the 300 block of Hoyte Drive. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Shreveport Police Department responded to the call and initiated an investigation into the fatal shooting.
