Eric Williams, an 8-year-old African-American boy, was one of four victims brutally murdered by convicted serial killer Nathaniel Robert Code on August 5, 1987, in Shreveport, Louisiana. This heinous act took place at the home of the victim's grandmother, Billy Joe Harris. Eric Williams, his mother Martha Leach, his aunt Geraldine James, and his grandmother were all killed during this violent home invasion that shocked the community and left a lasting scar on the city.
