Ranaldo Bennett, a 2-year-old African American boy, tragically lost his life on June 28, 2019, in Shreveport, Louisiana. The incident occurred around 8 a.m. when Ranaldo suffered a gunshot wound at his residence on Elmer Lane, near Cross Lake. Despite being rushed to Ochsner LSU Health hospital, he succumbed to his injuries approximately two hours later.
