In the summer of 2018, a violent encounter in Shreveport, Louisiana, set in motion a chain of events that would ultimately claim the life of Justin Lynn Kemp. On the evening of July 29th, the 36-year-old male was with an acquaintance in a vehicle parked at 4920 Jewella Avenue. Investigators believe the purpose of their meeting was related to the sale of narcotics. Shortly after 9:57 p.m., the scene was shattered by the sound of multiple gunshots.
