Derrick Purnell Terrell, a 45-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on August 20, 2019, at the Knight’s Inn motel in west Shreveport, Louisiana. The incident occurred following a dispute involving Tamala Ware, a woman Terrell was seeing at the time, who had a room at the motel.
