On the evening of August 4, 2023, Shreveport police responded to reports of a domestic dispute at the Residences at SpringRidge apartment complex. Upon arrival, officers found 39-year-old Xamien Davis with a gunshot wound to the head. He was transported to Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport, where he succumbed to his injuries the following day.
