In the early morning hours of July 15, 2023, in Shreveport, Louisiana, a burst of gunfire shattered the night, leaving a trail of violence that would claim the life of 26-year-old Eric Deamon Scott. The male victim was one of several people struck by bullets in an incident that unfolded in the 400 block of Commerce Street.
