In the summer of 2016, the life of 15-year-old Desmon Bell was tragically cut short in Shreveport, Louisiana. On the afternoon of Monday, August 1, emergency services were called to a residence in the 1400 block of Alma Street in the Caddo Heights neighborhood. Inside the home, responding officers discovered the young male had sustained what appeared to be a single gunshot wound to his head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
