Death by Force

Daymian M. Taylor, a 20-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed near downtown Shreveport, Louisiana, on April 19, 2020. The incident occurred just before 2:45 a.m. in the dead-end 1000 block of Pickett Street. Taylor was positively identified by Shreveport Police through fingerprint comparison, and an autopsy was ordered through Ochsner LSU Health hospital. The shooting remains under investigation by Shreveport Police.
