In the late hours of a Friday evening in Shreveport, Louisiana, the life of 28-year-old Damarion Powell, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short. On November 13, 2020, Powell was the victim of a fatal shooting. The incident was reported as a drive-by shooting, a violent act that ended his life and left a community searching for answers.
