Keandre Broadway, a 13-year-old African American boy, was tragically killed on April 4, 2015, in Shreveport, Louisiana. The incident occurred at Hattie Perry Park, where Keandre was playing during an Easter weekend gathering. According to reports, Antonious Cawthorne, an 18-year-old male, was asked to leave the park and, in response, pulled out a handgun and fired into a crowd.
