In the late summer of 2021, the life of 31-year-old Horace Sparks was tragically cut short by gun violence in Shreveport, Louisiana. On the evening of August 14th, Sparks was fatally shot, becoming another victim in a city grappling with violent crime. The incident that claimed Sparks' life set in motion an investigation by the Shreveport Police Department's Violent Crimes Unit.
