On the night of April 1, 2017, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, a violent and tragic event cut short the life of Anthony “Andy” Frederick Cooks, a 52-year-old man. A lifelong resident of the community, Cooks was known for his outgoing personality and his past as a professional boxer. The incident that led to his death was a shooting that also claimed the life of another man, Cory Todd, and left a third, Donte Todd, severely injured.
