In the winter of 2023, a violent encounter in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, led to the death of 61-year-old Steven Watts of Morris. The incident, which occurred on December 13th, stemmed from an argument between Watts and a man later identified as 36-year-old Blake Johnson. The two men were related by marriage, a connection that added a layer of tragedy to the unfolding events. During the dispute, Johnson allegedly shot Watts.
