Jayveon Arthur, a 20-year-old African American male, was tragically killed in an overnight shooting on September 24, 2016, in Shreveport, Louisiana. The incident occurred in the Agurs subdivision, specifically in the 2000 block of North Hearne Avenue. According to reports, Arthur was inside an apartment when multiple shots were fired from outside, penetrating through a window. He was struck by a bullet in the head and succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
