In the early morning hours of September 24, 2016, the life of 20-year-old Jayveon Arthur, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short in Shreveport, Louisiana. The incident unfolded at the Yorkshire Apartments located in the 2000 block of North Hearne Avenue in the Agurs neighborhood. Police were initially dispatched to the apartment complex in response to a noise complaint.
