Tyikorion Johns, a 16-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on January 8, 2021, in Shreveport, Louisiana. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when Shreveport police responded to a shooting at Willis Knighton North. Upon arrival, officers found Tyikorion Johns with a fatal gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at 3:14 a.m. The shooting took place near I-220 and Jefferson Paige Road while Tyikorion and two witnesses were traveling in the same vehicle.
