In the early morning hours of April 2, 2022, the life of 30-year-old Fazon C. Jenkins, an African American male, was tragically cut short in Shreveport, Louisiana. At approximately 4:50 a.m., officers from the Shreveport Police Department were dispatched to the 2000 block of Marshall Street following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered a grim scene. Jenkins had been fatally wounded by gunfire.
