In the quiet neighborhood of Eden Gardens in Shreveport, Louisiana, the night of June 28, 2024, was shattered by the sound of gunfire. Just before midnight, police responded to a call of a shooting at a residence in the 7200 block of Bethany Street. There, in the driveway, they found 46-year-old Jacoby Willis suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body. Originally from Dallas, Texas, Willis was a man whose life was about to be tragically cut short.
