On June 28, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred in the Eden Gardens neighborhood of east Shreveport, Louisiana. The victim, identified as 46-year-old Jacoby Willis from Dallas, Texas, was found in the driveway of a residence in the 7200 block of Bethany Street. At the time of the incident, Willis was engaged in a conversation with another individual when a family member heard several gunshots.
