On Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 2024, a violent encounter in Shreveport, Louisiana, resulted in the death of 18-year-old Jamarion Bryant. The incident, which unfolded around 12:10 p.m. at 7702 Pines Road, also led to the death of 29-year-old Deandre Daniels.
Shreveport Police Department investigators believe that Daniels approached Bryant while he was seated in a vehicle. An exchange of gunfire then erupted between the two men inside the car.
Despite being wounded, Bryant managed to exit the vehicle and flee on foot before collapsing. He succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds at the scene.
Deandre Daniels also sustained life-threatening injuries during the shootout. He was transported to a local hospital by the Shreveport Fire Department, where he later died. Authorities have indicated that Bryant and Daniels were acquainted with each other.
