In the winter of 2021, a 29-year-old man named Chavez Parker was killed in Shreveport, Louisiana. On December 21st, two men, Quinton Peace and Darius Persley, arranged to meet Parker at his home in the 6600 block of Melara Avenue under the guise of smoking marijuana. However, their actual intention was to rob him, a plan they had discussed in text messages where they also talked about obtaining firearms.
