In the fading light of a November afternoon in Shreveport, Louisiana, the life of 27-year-old Robert Lee Perry, an African American male, was brought to an abrupt and violent end. On November 28, 2018, at an apartment complex in the 4500 block of North Market Street, an altercation escalated, culminating in gunfire that would leave Perry with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.
