In the late spring of 2020, the life of Demetrick Lavell Alexander, a 23-year-old male, was tragically cut short. On the night of May 31st, in Shreveport, Louisiana, Alexander fell victim to gun violence in an incident that also claimed the life of 35-year-old Dwain Weathers. The overnight shooting sent ripples of concern through the community as law enforcement began their investigation into the double homicide.
