On the night of Saturday, November 29, 2025, the Mooretown neighborhood of Shreveport, Louisiana, became the focus of a violent investigation. Officers with the Shreveport Police Department were dispatched around 11:50 p.m. to the area of Illinois Avenue and Broadway Avenue after receiving reports of shots fired. Upon arrival at the initial scene, patrol units discovered an unoccupied vehicle but found no shooting victim, prompting them to expand their search to the surrounding streets.
