On April 25, 2023, 28-year-old Nickolas Prater was fatally shot in his home on the 2900 block of Bolch Street in Shreveport, Louisiana. The incident was reported to be domestic in nature, involving an altercation between Prater and his wife, 22-year-old Shraine Plater.
