In the late afternoon of a Saturday in Shreveport, Louisiana, a sequence of events unfolded that culminated in the death of 18-year-old Martavious D. Henderson. On August 12, 2023, just after 5 p.m., Henderson, along with 19-year-old Anthony M. Lee and a third unidentified individual, entered a business in the 1900 block of Centenary Boulevard. What began as a reported robbery quickly escalated into a fatal confrontation.
