On August 12, 2023, Martavious D. Henderson, an 18-year-old resident of Shreveport, Louisiana, was fatally shot in the Highland neighborhood of Shreveport. The incident occurred at approximately 5:00 PM at a business located in the 1900 block of Centenary Boulevard, near the intersection with Olive Street.
