On a January afternoon, James T. White, a 71-year-old African American man, was waiting at a bus stop in Shreveport, Louisiana, when his life was abruptly ended. The incident occurred around 2:00 p.m. on January 23, 2025, in the 500 block of East 70th Street, located in the Cedar Grove neighborhood.
