In the summer of 2016, the life of 35-year-old Curtis Howard Williams Jr., an African American male, was tragically cut short in Shreveport, Louisiana. On the morning of July 8th, a family member made a grim discovery, finding Williams's body behind a vacant house in the Cedar Grove neighborhood. The initial discovery left more questions than answers, prompting an immediate investigation by Shreveport police.
