In the early hours of May 12, 2018, the day before Mother's Day, a tragedy unfolded in Shreveport, Louisiana, that would cut short the life of 15-year-old Leondre Spates. The Black/African American male was discovered with a fatal gunshot wound to the head at approximately 1:45 a.m. His body was found near a stolen SUV, adding a layer of mystery to the already grim circumstances of his untimely death.
