Death by Force

On March 30, 2018, Shreveport Police patrol officers were called to the 700 block of Tecumseh Trail in response to the discovery of 19-year-old Jermarin Smith, who was found dead from multiple gunshot wounds. Jermarin Smith, a young African American male, was the victim of a violent crime that shocked the local community. The investigation revealed that Smith had been shot multiple times, leading to his untimely death.
