Death by Force

Markzaulous Lewis, a 25-year-old African American male, was found dead inside a residence in the 3100 block of Catherine Street in central Shreveport on July 27, 2017. The Caddo Parish Coroner's office identified him through fingerprints. The preliminary cause of death, pending autopsy results, was a shotgun wound to the torso. The discovery of his body was reported to 911 dispatchers just after 7:30 a.m.
