Narcotics Officer Ronald Edward Dean, Jr., a 27-year-old male, was tragically killed on December 16, 1992, while serving a narcotics-related warrant in Shreveport, Louisiana. Officer Dean was part of a Street Level Interdiction Team, which was executing the warrant at the Pines Apartments located at 8040 Line Avenue.
