Chase Brownfield, a 29-year-old male from Shreveport, Louisiana, tragically passed away on August 18, 2022. Chase was found alone in the driver’s seat of a black 2006 Jeep Liberty, suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound to the head. He was transported to Ochsner LSU Medical Center, where he was later pronounced deceased. The incident occurred in the westbound lanes of Interstate 20 on the downhill side of the Red River overpass.
