In the quiet, pre-dawn hours of a Sunday morning in Shreveport, Louisiana, the life of Marcus Thornton was tragically cut short. On February 12, 2023, police responded to a call just before 3 a.m. at a duplex located in the 1900 block of North Hearne Avenue. Upon their arrival, they discovered the body of Marcus Thornton, a male victim who had been shot in the torso. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
