In the early morning hours of January 23, 2019, the city of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, recorded its third homicide of the year. Responding to a call of shots fired around 12:30 a.m., police officers arrived at the intersection of 24th Avenue and Linden Street. There, they discovered the body of 53-year-old Celestine Holder, a female resident of Pine Bluff, lying on the ground.
