On a cold February evening in 2020, Kieshell L. Walker, a 27-year-old Black mother of two, was fatally shot while sitting in her car in the Mosby Court area of Richmond, Virginia. The tragic incident occurred on February 17, when a newer model, silver or gray midsize four-door sedan with a panoramic glass roof pulled up alongside her vehicle and an occupant opened fire.
