In the summer of 2024, the life of 50-year-old Eric Jerone Gary was tragically cut short by an act of gun violence in New Orleans. On the evening of July 17th, police were called to the 7th Ward, where they discovered Gary inside a residence, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the immediate response from emergency services, his injuries proved fatal, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
