On a late September day in New Orleans, a discovery was made that brought a tragic end to the life of 30-year-old Shawn Jones. On Friday, September 28, 2018, officers from the Seventh District responded to a medical call in the 4300 block of Dale Street. Inside an unoccupied residence, they found a male victim, later identified as Jones, who was suffering from gunshot wounds.
