Murdered

Marquis Antonio Tompkins, Jr., a 24-year-old resident of Lexington, Kentucky, was fatally shot on the evening of February 6, 2023. The incident occurred in the 500 block of Toner Street, where police responded to reports of shots fired at approximately 6:56 p.m..

Upon arrival, officers found Tompkins suffering from a gunshot wound inside a vehicle. Despite immediate attention, he was pronounced dead at the scene by the Fayette County Coroner’s Office.
