In the closing days of 2023, a fatal shooting in Lexington, Kentucky, claimed the life of Devon Dockery Jr., a 24-year-old male. The incident unfolded on the evening of December 27th on the 500 block of Pemberton Street. Police responded to reports of gunfire shortly before 5 p.m. and discovered Dockery inside a vehicle, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to the University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
