On July 30, 2023, at approximately 7:47 PM, Boston police responded to a report of a person shot in the area of Blue Hill Avenue and Washington Street in Roxbury, Boston. Upon arrival, officers found Jackson Beausejour, a 33-year-old resident of Mattapan, suffering from a gunshot wound. Beausejour was transported by Boston EMS to Boston Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead due to the severity of his injuries, specifically an apparent gunshot wound to the neck.
