On August 14, 2023, a fatal shooting occurred on the near southeast side of Indianapolis, resulting in the death of 19-year-old Marvon Rashad Suttle. The incident took place in the 1600 block of East Tabor Street, where Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) officers responded to a report of a person shot just before 5 p.m..
