On January 11, 2015, Henry Nunn Sr., aged 63, was fatally shot at his residence in Indianapolis. The incident took place early in the morning when Nunn answered a knock at his door on the near north side of the city. When he opened the door, he was shot, and the shooter fled the scene immediately.
