On a cold February day in Indianapolis, the life of 22-year-old Lorenzo 'Scooter' Clark Jr. was tragically cut short. On February 21, 2014, the young man was the victim of a fatal shooting in what police identified as a double homicide. Another man, Michael DeShawn Whitfield, also lost his life in the violent encounter. The incident, which was attributed to gun violence, left a community searching for answers and a family grappling with a sudden and devastating loss.
