Death by Force

On July 4, 2024, a dispute between neighbors in the near northwest side of Indianapolis escalated into a deadly shootout, resulting in the death of 48-year-old Heather Lynn Walters. The incident occurred shortly before 9:30 p.m. on Questend Drive, where a Fourth of July celebration turned violent due to a disagreement over fireworks.
